Tonderai back for Vodacom Stormers

Kick-off is 19:10. The coach made two changes to the side that beat the Highlanders in Dunedin last week.

Lock Andries Bekker has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury and his absence allows Hilton Lobberts a second start in a Stormers jersey. With the first-choice combination of Bekker and Adriaan Fondse ruled out, Lobberts will pack down with veteran AJ Venter.

Martin Muller, a relatively unknown lock from the University of Stellenbosch, will be on the substitutes’ bench.

Gcobani Bobo has an ankle injury and is also battling a bout of the flu, which opens the door for a return to Super 14 action for Tonderai Chavhanga.

Chavhanga suffered a hamstring injury early in the Stormers campaign and last week made a return to the playing field when he represented Vodacom WP in the Vodacom Cup quarterfinal against the Bulls in Pretoria.
