What is your earliest rugby memory?
Playing rugby in the park with my friends.
What has been your career highlight to date?
Making my Springbok debut and winning the first Vodacom URC with the DHL Stormers.
Who has had the biggest impact on your career and why?
My dad. He’s been in my corner since I can remember.
What do you like to do when you are not playing rugby?
I like to get out into nature, bodyboard and spend time with family and friends.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
Once again my dad, my hero and mentor.
What is your favourite city you have visited and why?
Cape Town is home and the best city in the world!!
What is your favourite meal?
Burger and Chips!
Who was your rugby hero growing up?
Pierre Spies.

Ruhan Nel, already part of the defence coaching system so will transition easily!

Best dressed Damian Willemse or Seabelo Senatla. Worst dressed unfortunately Brok Harris (sorry Brok).
Funniest person in the squad and why?
Herschel Jantjies, I can’t explain why, he is just very witty and sharp haha.
