The DHL Stormers take on two-time Investec Champions Cup winners Stade Rochelais at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday. Here is all you need to know.

Gqeberha will host its second Investec Champions Cup clash when a DHL Stormers side featuring nine Springboks in the starting line-up takes on the French giants at 15h00 on Saturday.

There is a big crowd expected for this match, so ensure that you get down to the stadium early, with gates opening at 12h00, and make the most of the day.

Fan Village

There will be a fan village located at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium inside the Prince Alfred gate, for those with match tickets, which opens at 12h00 and will only close two hours after the final whistle, with fun for the whole family to enjoy.

Algoa FM DJ Kaycee Rossouw will be live from the venue, which will also feature food trucks, a Heineken bar, great music and a family fun zone.

The stadium will be hive of excitement ahead of kick-off, with various handouts and activities from DHL Stormers partners at gates and in the fan village, so come early and enjoy the vibe before the match kicks off.

Match tickets

Tickets are available to purchase at stormers.co.za and at the stadium ticket office (card only). Tickets purchased from Viagogo or any other third party will not be valid. CLICK HERE for conditions of use of our match tickets.

All spectators must have a valid ticket, which will be scanned on entry at fence line. Please have your tickets ready to scan at the gates.

All tickets have an allocated block and seat number. Please sit in the correct block and seat which is printed clearly on your ticket and keep your ticket on you at all times.

To facilitate seating in the correct block and seat number, there will be a secondary ticket security check in the stadium before entry into the seating block is allowed. Signage and officials in the stadium will help direct you to the correct block, row and seat.

Officials will be on duty outside the venue at the gates and inside the venue on the concourse at block entry, to assist with queries or issues.

There will be queues at the stadium ticket office, so you are encouraged to buy ahead of time from stormers.co.za and have them ready when you arrive.

How to purchase and manage tickets

Step One: Register an account

All those wishing to buy tickets and attend DHL Stormers matches must register an account on stormers.co.za. Click on Tickets, then click on the head and shoulders icon at the top-right corner on stormers.tmtickets.co.za. Select ‘register’ below the log-in and create a profile.

Step Two: Buy your tickets

Once you have registered an account and signed in on stormers.tmtickets.co.za, you can book and pay for your tickets. You will then receive a booking confirmation email with details of your booking.

Step Three: Download the App

The Stormers App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You must sign into the App with the same email address and password that you used to set up your account on the website.

Your tickets will then be accessible in the tickets tab on the App and can be added to your phone’s wallet. Only tickets on the App or your phone’s wallet will be accepted and scanned at the gates.

Tickets can also be bought or transferred via the App.

Parking

No vehicles will be allowed into the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium parking area unless they present security with a VVIP or VIP Parking Ticket. All persons in the vehicle will also need to have their match or suite tickets available to scan – both are required for entry.

Public Parking is available at Sydenham Primary School across from the stadium. The entrance to the parking area will be on Leylands Street and 450 bays will be available at R50 a car and R100 per minibus, with larger busses charged R200 per vehicle. Parking opens at 12h00. Please park legally and respect the residents – traffic enforcement will be in force.

There will be road closures and traffic enforcement around the stadium.

Security

Please note that no spectator is allowed access to the pitch. Any person invading the pitch can be prosecuted as this is a criminal offence.

Please respect all those around you and abide by the stadium rules and the ticketing conditions of use which are available on our website.

There will be a large uniformed presence of security, SAPS and city officials in the stadium precinct. Please remain vigilant and keep your valuables close to you at all times.

Umbrellas are prohibited and will not be allowed into the stadium, if there are cold and wet weather conditions please dress warmly and bring a rain jacket.
