DHL Stormers v Ospreys: All you need to know
The DHL Stormers are back at DHL Stadium where they will face Ospreys in a Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash at 19h15 on Saturday.
The DHL Stormers are currently in fifth place on the standings and looking to break into the top four as they host the Welsh outfit.
Country and Western star James Johnson will be performing on the DHL Stadium pitch pre-match for 15 minutes from 18h30.
In addition to the very popular beer garden bar with live Red Bull DJ, there will be a second bar on the stadium podium behind the West Stand, where Bok Radio will be doing an outside broadcast.
A large crowd is expected at DHL Stadium and gates will open at 17h15, so make sure you park remotely, use the free MyCiTi bus shuttle service and get into the stadium early to make the most of your matchday.
– Gates at DHL Stadium open at 17h15, with kick-off at 19h15.
– Get there early. Plan to be in the precinct by 17h30 and in the stadium by 18h00.
– The beer garden inside the stadium will be open from 17h15 with a Red Bull DJ playing live and food trucks and activations for fans inside the stadium.
– Park remotely in the Cape Town CBD. There are free MyCiTi shuttles for all ticket holders from the Thibault Square and Civic Centre stations.
– All seats are numbered. All spectators must please sit in the correct seat as allocated on the tickets.
– No Umbrellas are allowed in the stadium.
– No braaing is allowed anywhere in the stadium precinct and those found braaing will be subject to a fine.
– DHL Stadium is a smoke/vaping free building. Smoking is permitted in designated areas on Level 02 Podium (outside). No smoking/vaping is allowed in any suites or on the stands.
– Respect the kicker, officials, players and all attending or working at the game.
– Please note that no spectator is allowed access to the pitch. Any person invading the pitch can be prosecuted as this is a criminal offence.
– Please bring a clearly printed ticket as well as your digital e-ticket and have them ready in the queue to scan in. Please also take note of the items that are not allowed into the stadium.
– There is a big crowd expected for this match and heavy traffic congestion expected in the area, so make sure you catch a MyCiTi bus shuttle and make the most of what should be a great day out at DHL Stadium.
Match tickets

Please print your match ticket clearly and also bring a digital version on your phone and have both ready to scan in as easily as possible at the gates.
When booking note that the South Stand is the party stand. The North Stand is the family stand and blocks 108 and 109 are alcohol free.
Disabled seating at DHL Stadium is sold at a fixed price of R140 and can be booked by email to [email protected].
There are 110 dedicated, specifically designed wheelchair seats and 138 buddy seats at DHL Stadium with full ramp access and facilities.
Parking
While there is heavy congestion expected in the stadium precinct, there is dedicated stadium rugby parking available in the stadium precinct at the P4 and P9 (R120 card payment on entry only) stadium parking areas.
On-street parking is available within the city centre but no additional security will be provided. Parking tariffs will apply until 13h00, after which on-street parking becomes free of charge.
DHL Stadium is in a residential precinct, so please respect the residents and co-operate with the traffic officials on duty. Please note that vehicles that are illegally parked will be fined and/or towed away.
Ticket holders with disabilities must please formally request access to the parking bays dedicated in P5 for people with disabilities, by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. These parking bays are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.
Free MyCiTi shuttles
Ticket holders will be able to board MyCiTi buses to DHL Stadium free of charge from the Civic Centre and Thibault Square bus stations.
The shuttles service will take spectators to the Stadium Station, starting at 16h45 from Civic Centre and Thibault Square. Thereafter, a bus leaves every 15 minutes or when full. The last return bus leaves the Stadium bus station at 23h15.
Use public transport to the bus stations and either catch the free event shuttle to the stadium or use the Fan Walk.
Road closures
The following road closures will be in effect: Fritz Sonnenberg Road, Vlei Road, Stephan Way and Fort Wynyard Street will all be closed from 06h00, with restrictions on Helen Suzman Boulevard, Beach Road, Buitengracht Street and Granger Bay Boulevard.
E-Hailing
It is recommended that those using e-hailing are dropped off and collected in the CBD at DF Malan Drive opposite the Artscape Theatre, Hertzog Boulevard or Jan Smuts Street and then use the MyCiTi shuttle which is free to all event ticket holders from the Civic Centre and Thibault Square Station, or alternatively use the Fan Walk.
There is an e-hailing drop-off area in Helen Suzman Boulevard between Vlei Road and Beach Road on both sides, but spectators are warned that drop-and-go and pick-up around the stadium will have very long delays due to traffic congestion.
Other information
Please note that umbrellas are prohibited at DHL Stadium and will NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE STADIUM. The stadium and event organiser will not take responsibility for umbrellas left at the stadium entrance gates. Please bring a rain jacket should there be a threat of rain.
No spectators will be allowed to take food or drink into the stadium. There is also no braaing allowed anywhere in the stadium precinct, including all public and parking areas. Those found braaing will be fined.
Spectators are urged to be aware of the threat of car jamming in parking areas.
Please also be wary of pickpockets at the stadium and keep your valuables close to you at all times.
