Vodacom Stormers training camp
“With the Vodacom Super 14 starting in the first week of February next year, there is not a lot of time to prepare”, said Vodacom Stormers coach Kobus Van Der Merwe. “The 5 day camp will focus on conditioning, technical and skills work and will also see some discussion and planning for the season ahead. We are excited about the season ahead and will look to use the camp and warm up games to provide the best possible preparation for the season.”
There will be an opportunity for the media to come out to the camp on Sunday 17 December. The team will have a training session at the Saasveld rugby field at 9h15am. This will be followed by a signing session at the field and a chance for the supporters to meet their rugby heroes.
On the Sunday afternoon the team will be at Diaz Beach in Mossel Bay from 3pm onwards playing touch rugby and meeting their fans.
The Vodacom Stormers play a warm up game against the Vodacom Blue Bulls at Loftus on Saturday 13 January and then against Boland in Wellington on Saturday 20 January.
