Ulster will be the first Irish team to face the DHL Stormers at DHL Stadium in a Vodacom United Rugby Championship encounter on Saturday.

The team from Belfast will take on the DHL Stormers at 15h00 on Saturday.

Tickets will not be sold at the stadium and can only be purchased from the Ticketpro website.

Tickets are available from the Ticketpro website (CLICK HERE to buy yours now) from between R80 and R200.

The DHL Stormers have already faced Irish sides Munster and Connacht this season, but both of those game were away from home.

Ulster are currently second on the Vodacom United Rugby Championship standings, while the DHL Stormers are in seventh, having won their last three consecutive home games.

As announced by State President Cyril Ramaphosa this week, rugby venues are now permitted to accept up to 50 percent of their capacity for vaccinated or COVID-19 negative attendees going forward, but that is not all.

The change in the regulations means that the requirement that only 2 000 vaccinated fans are allowed into venues has been relaxed for Vodacom United Rugby Championship and Carling Currie Cup.

Masks are only to be worn indoors, social distancing is down to one metre, tickets are on sale all around the stadium and beer will also be on sale for the first time.

All those attending must produce either a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test from the previous 72 hours along with their ID before entering the stadium.

Children under 12 do not need to provide any documentation before entering, but all those older than 12 must either have a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test.

Although masks are only required in indoor areas, all spectators are encouraged to bring a mask along in case they find themselves in such an area at any time.

With social distancing regulations now down to just one metre, there is no longer the need for entire rows separating the Faithful and tickets are on sale all around the stadium, rather than just in the East Stand as before.

For the first time since the DHL Stormers have been playing at DHL Stadium, there will be beer on sale in the stadium.

Those attending are encouraged to:

  • Use public transport to the Civic Centre bus station and either catch the normal bus service to the Stadium.
  • Use the free on-street parking in the CBD (free after 13:00) please note that no security will be arranged.
  • Use off-street parking at the CTICC, Ryk Tulbagh Square, Picbel Parkade, Plein Park, etc. Use the MyCiti shuttle.
  • Park at the V&A Waterfront (pay to use) and walk to the Stadium

Fritz Sonnenburg and Vlei roads will both be temporarily closed and/or restricted to vehicular traffic from 06h00 to 18h00 on matchday.

Parking – P2 parking at the Fort entrance is available for purchase. CLICK HERE to purchase your parking ticket

Hospitality ticket holders with pre-issued parking in either P1 or P5 will have to provide evidence that they are entitled to these parking bays by clearly displaying the Vehicle Access Permit (VAP) on their dashboard when entering the parking area (P5) on Vlei Road. Failure to display will result in access being denied.

Ticket holders with disabilities must formally request access to the parking bays dedicated in P5 to people with disabilities by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

We are very excited to welcome the Faithful back to DHL Stadium and look forward to enjoying the day with you cheering our team on in the stands.
