The DHL Stormers made it three wins from as many games this season with a dominant 34-0 bonus point win against Scarlets in Llanelli on Friday night.

Five tries in total saw them claim a full house of log points and move to the top of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship standings, keeping the opposition scoreless for the second time this season.

The visitors dominated the first half and scored all of the points, although they still let a few scoring opportunities slip.

Evan Roos scored the first try and his fourth of the season when he dived through a gap next to a ruck after a powerful maul.

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu added a penalty to take them into double figures and they held that advantage for some time.

Both teams were down a man towards the end of the first half, with both Ben-Jason Dixon and Taine Plumtree shown yellow cards.

The DHL Stormers eventually added a second try as Paul de Villiers burst off the side of a maul to score after a flurry of penalties late in the first half.

That gave them a 17-0 advantage at the break and despite losing Feinberg-Mngomezulu to the sin bin for a professional foul they would be first to score in the second half as Ruben van Heerden forced his way over from close range.

The bonus point was wrapped up when Feinberg-Mngomezulu picked up a loose ball to score in the corner and replacement scrumhalf Imad Khan added the final blow when he slid over for the fifth try after going down the blindside off the back of a dominant scrum.
