WP & Stormers Rugby awarded Virgin Atlantic Sport Team of the Year
Virgin Atlantic Sport Team of the Year and Best Use of Digital Communications in Sport, for the 2011 Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards. The prestigious shortlist was carefully selected from a phenomenal number of entries of an impressively high standard – just to have earned a place represents a fantastic achievement.
Presented at Emperors Palace in front of a star-studded audience of all key stakeholders in South African sport, Western Province / Stormers was awarded the Virgin Atlantic Sport Team of the Year. The judges looked at criteria such as:
