BLK Sport has extended its technical partnership with the DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province in a multi-year agreement.

The sportswear brand joined the fold as an associate sponsor and technical partner for both teams in 2019.

The renewal announcement follows the recent launch of the DHL Stormers’ Vodacom United Rugby Championship kits for 2022/23, now available online from blksport.co.za and leading retailers nationwide.

Incorporating an artistic flair drawn from the Cape’s rich art heritage, the home and away jerseys feature the team’s traditional hoops as paintbrush strokes, as a tribute to the Faithful who ‘paint the city blue and white’ on match day.

Speaking on the partnership, DHL Stormers Head Coach John Dobson said: “Having a technical sponsor like BLK makes all the difference in a professional environment.

“The players take great pride in wearing our team’s colours and the high quality of the kit we use definitely adds to that, so we are excited and honoured to continue this journey with BLK,” he said.

BLK South Africa’s Byron Mulholland commented: “In 2019, we committed to building a long-term partnership with the DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province that captured the spirit of Western Cape rugby and embodied our mutual commitment to going ‘Beyond Limits Known’.

“Our partnership and indeed our brands have grown immensely over the last four years. With great mutual success on and off the field, we look forward to the continued development of superb technical product with designs that inspire players and fans alike.

“The synergy between the DHL Stormers and BLK has been an integral element of our expansion into Africa, and we are excited to continue this partnership,” he added.
