Without the services of the injured Schalk Burger, Jean De Villiers and Andries Bekker the team had the Reds reeling in the first half already after tries to Aplon and Grant. The Reds came back hard in the second period, but the Stormers dug deep denying the Reds a bonus point and securing 4 valuable tour points.

Talking after the match Bryan Habana who played in jersey 13 gave credit to the coaching staff and players” We were hit hard by injuries last week and each player had to be a leader out there and put up their hands. The guys worked hard for a tough win. Credit to the coaching staff for being spot on in the preparation this week.”
