Allister calls up Fenton-Wells and Armand
“I know this is tough on the DHL WP Vodacom Cup side who have qualified for the final and are unbeaten,” said Allister Coetzee, “but that is where we are at this stage of the competition. One will be released back to the WP side later this week. Jebb Sinclair did well when he came on for Nizaam. He is an experienced international and despite not really having trained, did very well. At least he will have the luxury of a weeks training with us and getting to know our systems.” Coetzee confirmed however that he would “continue to look at specialist number 8’s that are available around the globe”. Neither Fenton-Wells, nor Armand are specialist 8’s.
Coetzee also confirmed that Vermeulen, Burger and Koster’s rehab is progressing very well and all are expected back at varying stages after the June break.
