WPRFU Executive wish DHL Stormers well
WPRFU President Mr Thelo Wakefield addressed the players and coaching staff at the High Performance Centre in Bellville, and introduced the Executive, including the most recent addition, Mr Ronald Bantom.
He also welcomed new players Pieter-Steph du Toit, Jano Vermaak and JC Janse van Rensburg before wishing the team well for the upcoming season.
The players then spent some time engaging with the Executive Committee members individually, giving the leadership a chance to connect with them on a personal level.
“It is important that the players know that we as the leadership of Western Province Rugby are right behind them.
“This meeting gave our Executive the chance to connect with the players who represent us on the field which I believe is vital,” said Wakefield.
