Rassie makes changes to Vodacom Stormers

The coach made a number of changes to the side that went down 14-10 to the Bulls at Loftus in Pretoria on Saturday.

Springbok fullback Conrad Jantjes is still injured, which means veteran Percy Montgomery will again be in the last line of defence. Big Fijian wing Sireli Naqelevuki is back in the starting XV at left wing. He takes over from Springbok Tonderai Chavhanga, who reverts to the substitutes’ bench.

Willem de Waal retains his place at flyhalf, with Springbok Peter Grant still on the bench. Schalk Burger, after starting from the bench last week, is back at flank in place of Francois Louw. The latter is on the bench.

Adriaan Fondse will be partnering Andries Bekker at lock. AJ Venter started against the Bulls, but he is back on the bench. Youngster Wicus Blaauw gets rewarded with his outstanding scrumming performance last weekend with another start. JD Moller, back from injury, will be warming the bench.
