What is your earliest rugby memory?
When I was 16 playing my first game with my Dad at his rugby club.
What has been your career highlight to date?
Going on alignment camp with Boks. Winning the Currie Cup. Becoming a DHL Stormer. Winning the Vodacom URC title
Who has had the biggest impact on your career and why?
My Father and Wife My dad taught me everything I know about rugby and my wife is my biggest fan and keeps my feet on the ground.
What do you like to do when you are not playing rugby?
Spend time with family. Golf. Catching fish.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My Wife. If it wasn’t for her I would not still be playing rugby, she kept my head and heart on rugby.
What is your favourite city you have visited and why?
Cardiff, the city and Wales in general is just amazing. Its beautiful and offers so much to do.
What is your favourite meal?
Mac & Cheese.
Who was your rugby hero growing up?
Pierre Spies and Duane Vermeulen.
If you could invite any five people to a braai, who would they be?
Adré Smith, Leolin Zas, Stefan Ungerer , Herschel Jantjies , Brok Harris.
Which DHL Stormers player do you think is most likely to become a coach one day and why?
Brok Harris. He is one of the most professional guys and players I have ever met. And he is Brok.
Best and worst dressed in the squad?
Seabelo Senatla- best. Gareth Wright - worst.
Funniest person in the squad and why?
Adré Smith. He has the driest sense of humour and no filter.
