Playing u9 rugby against Bishops prep without boots on the wet, dew-filled field

What has been your career highlight to date?

Scoring a try in the Varsity Cup final 2024.

Who has had the biggest impact on your career and why?

I think Gerrie Visser and Robbie Fleck, as they helped me find confidence in my position and ability in Varsity Cup.

What do you like to do when you are not playing rugby?

Going to the beach, play golf, have a beer.

Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?

I think both my parents have been extremely influential, my dad has always supported my sport and been so influential in instilling my morals and making me into the man I am today. My mom has also shaped the type of person I am and has had a huge impact in how I treat people and the respect for others. She is also been my rock and someone I can always talk to.

What is your favourite city you have visited and why?

Dublin because it’s always festive and who can say no to a Guiness in a pub.

What is your favourite meal?

A steak burger and chips.

Who was your rugby hero growing up?

Damien de Allende.

If you could invite any five people to a braai, who would they be?

Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Elon Musk, Andy Samberg, Johnny Manziel.

Which DHL Stormers player do you think is most likely to become a coach one day and why?

I think Ruhan Nel and Brok Harris, I was fortunate enough for them to both coach me when I was starting out at DHL Western Province age group level, and I think their experience and understanding for the game and their ability to transfer that knowledge makes them very good potential coaches.

Best and worst dressed in the squad?

Best dressed Suleiman Hartzenberg and worst dressed Connor Evans.

Funniest person in the squad and why?

Sazi Sandi, he just has a funny energy and good aura and is always cracking jokes.
