One more free match for 2020 Newlands season ticket holders
All 2020 Newlands season ticket holders will be given two free tickets for one more selected match this season as a sign of our gratitude for your incredible support.
At this point, all 2020 Newlands season ticket holders have been eligible to collect free tickets for three Vodacom United Rugby Championship matches and one Carling Currie Cup match.
These free tickets are a gesture of gratitude, for those who lost out on value for their season tickets due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Season ticket holders have collected free tickets at DHL Stadium for the DHL Stormers matches against the Ospreys, Vodacom Bulls and Glasgow Warriors, as well as the DHL Western Province match against the Toyota Cheetahs.
The final match which free tickets would be given to season ticket holders was originally planned to be the Carling Currie Cup game against Windhoek Draught Griquas next week, but that has now changed.
Should the DHL Stormers win their Vodacom United Rugby Championship quarterfinal against Edinburgh on June 4, 2020 Newlands season ticket holders will be able to claim free tickets to the home semifinal the following week on Saturday, June 11. See scenario 1 below
Should the DHL Stormers lose their quarterfinal, then 2020 Newlands season ticket holders will be able to collect free tickets to the final Carling Currie Cup home game of the season against the Cell C Sharks on June 10. See scenario 2 below
All those attending must produce either a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test from the previous 72 hours along with their ID before entering the stadium.
Children under 12 do not need to provide any documentation before entering, but all those older than 12 must either have a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test.
Although masks are only required in indoor areas, all spectators are encouraged to bring a mask along in case they find themselves in such an area at any time.
A specific stand has been identified for season ticket holders for these matches.
Details for collection of your free tickets:
Scenario 1: VURC Semi Final at DHL Stadium – Should the DHL Stormers win their home quarterfinal vs Edinburgh on 4 June;
• Season ticket holders will be sent a link to book their free tickets via the Ticketpro website.
• Bookings will open on Sunday 5th of June at 12pm and close at 12pm on Monday 6th of June.
• A specific prime seating area has been made available on Level 1 in the East stand.
• Two free tickets maximum per 2020 season ticket holder (regardless of how many season tickets held), while stocks last. 2000 seats are available on a first come first served basis.
• Remaining seats in this area will be released to the general public once this exclusive season window has closed.
• Additional ticket bookings over and above the free allocations will need to be done via Ticketpro once ticket sales are opened to the general public.
Scenario 2: Carling Currie Cup, DHL WP vs Cell C Sharks
• One free ticket per season ticket holder to be collected at the ticket office at DHL Stadium on game day, ticket office will be open three hours prior to kick off.
• Season ticket holders must produce either DHL Newlands season ticket, or ID on collection.
