New big screen for DHL Newlands

New big screen for DHL Newlands

8 years ago News

The big screen at DHL Newlands is in the process of being replaced with a new screen.

A temporary solution will be installed for the DHL Stormers clash with the Jaguares on Saturday.

The old screen has been safely and successfully removed and the new screen will be up and running for the DHL Stormers encounter with the Toyota Cheetahs on April 1.

The temporary screen for the DHL Stormers v Jaguares game is 25 square metres and has been installed at ground level in the South East corner of the Danie Craven Stand in the standing-room area.

Safety has been a priority throughout the engineering process of removing the old screen and changing the structure, ahead of the installation of the new permanent screen.

The three-week break between home games for the DHL Stormers will be used to ensure that the new permanent screen is fully operational going forward.

Western Province Rugby apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the DHL Newlands Faithful for their patience and understanding in this regard.
