STORMERS RUGBY (PTY) LIMITED

SEASON TICKET MEMBERSHIPS AND STANDALONE MEMBERSHIPS CONDITIONS OF ISSUE

1. Definitions and interpretation

Stormers Rugby (Pty) Limited is referred to in these Conditions of Issue as “Stormers Rugby”.

“Membership” means any official Stormers membership product made available for purchase via the Official Stormers Website or any authorised sales channel.

“Member” means any person who has successfully purchased and holds a valid Membership.

“Membership benefits” or “Membership entitlements” means the benefits, privileges, discounts, access rights or offers associated with a particular Membership type, as determined by Stormers Rugby from time to time.

“Membership period” means the period for which a Membership is valid, as specified at the time of purchase. Memberships run from 12 September to 11 September, a one-year period spanning the competitive season.

“Website” means www.stormers.co.za and any related digital platforms operated by Stormers Rugby.

These Conditions of Issue should be read in conjunction with the following additional terms (which are hereby incorporated into these Conditions of Issue):

2. Acceptance of terms

By purchasing, holding, or using a Membership, the Member acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Stormers Rugby reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any amendments will be effective upon publication on the Website.

3. Membership types, benefits and eligibility

Stormers Rugby may offer various Membership types, each with distinct benefits, pricing, and eligibility criteria.

Memberships are personal to the Member and may not be transferred, sold, or assigned unless expressly stated otherwise by Stormers Rugby.

Stormers Rugby reserves the right to refuse or cancel any Membership purchase at its sole discretion.

For the 2025/26 season, Stormers Rugby offers the following Membership types, with the listed Membership benefits and eligibility criteria for each:

3.1 Season Ticket Memberships: Flash Member

  • Only available to Season Ticket Holders
  • Milestone markers – recognition of years as a member starting from the 2025/26 season
  • New 25/26 DHL Stormers replica jersey (one per membership). The collection of merchandise is the sole responsibility of the Member and may only be done once the correct size has been requested and prepared for collection by Stormers Rugby.
  • Exclusive membership t-shirt (one per membership). The collection of merchandise is the sole responsibility of the Member and may only be done once the correct size has been requested and prepared for collection by Stormers Rugby.
  • Your seat included for all potential Vodacom URC, Investec Champions Cup and Carling Currie Cup playoffs for home fixtures at DHL Stadium. Only one ticket will be issued per Flash Membership. If a Flash Member owns multiple season tickets, he or she will be required to purchase a Flash Membership for the same number of season tickets in order to have playoff tickets included for each seat.
  • Parking pass for the nearest available parking to DHL Stadium for all home matches (excl playoffs). The Stormers Rugby ticketing department reserves the right to determine the nearest available parking. Parking passes to be shared on a match-to-match basis, via e-mail.
  • Opportunity to travel with the team (same flights and accommodation) to domestic Vodacom URC matches (excl playoffs) at own cost and subject to availability. Match tickets included. Flight and accommodation details are available on request. Stormers Rugby are solely responsible for sharing the flight and accommodation information when requested. The final booking and purchasing of the relevant flights and accommodation will be the responsibility of the Member at the Member’s own expense. Stormers Rugby will bear no responsibility should there be no flight and/or accommodation availability. Upon confirmation of flight and accommodation bookings by the Member, Stormers Rugby will share two match tickets per Flash Membership.
  • Personalised birthday message from a DHL Stormers player or coach. Stormers Rugby reserves the right to determine the nature of the birthday message as well as the player or coach responsible. Members who submit their date of birth after their birthday will not be entitled to a belated birthday message unless otherwise stated.
  • Access to selected Captains’ Run training sessions hosted at DHL Stadium (RSVP only). Stormers Rugby are responsible for sharing all relevant Captains’ Run information in the week of the relevant fixture. Attendance is by RSVP only, and Members will be required to adhere to the rules set out by Stormers Rugby and DHL Stadium on arrival.
  • Opportunity to be in the draw for selection as the Flash Member on the bench for all Vodacom URC home matches at DHL Stadium (excl playoffs). Stormers Rugby are responsible for administering a random draw for selection. Once a Flash Member has been selected, he or she will be contacted via cellphone and e-mail. Failure by the Member to respond within the given timeframe will result in the Member forfeiting their opportunity. Upon acceptance of the opportunity by the Member, Stormers Rugby is responsible for sharing the relevant information with the Member. Stormers Rugby reserves the right to remove this benefit at any time, if competition rules and regulations require so.
  • Invitations to exclusive DHL Stormers events. Stormers Rugby reserves the right to determine which events are open for Flash Members to attend. Attendance of these events will be by RSVP and approval only.

3.2 Season Ticket Memberships: Stormers Member

  • Only available to Season Ticket Holders
  • Milestone markers – recognition of years as a member starting from the 2025/26 season
  • Exclusive membership t-shirt (one per membership). The collection of merchandise is the sole responsibility of the Member and may only be done once the correct size has been requested and prepared for collection by Stormers Rugby.
  • Opportunity to register and be selected for the pre-match foyer experience (excl playoffs) at Vodacom URC and Investec Champions Cup home matches at DHL Stadium. Stormers Rugby are responsible for sending the invitation to the pre-match foyer experience for a relevant fixture in the week leading up to the match. The Member must register their interest via an e-mail RSVP. Stormers Rugby will then send the required information regarding the pre-match foyer experience to the Member, if they were selected to attend. On the day, the Member must arrive 20 minutes prior to kick-off from where they will be escorted down to the mix-zone. After the team have run out, a Stormers Rugby representative will escort the Member(s) back to podium level from where they will move to their matchday seats.
  • Discount on merchandise from our online store of up to 10%. Stormers Rugby is responsible for sharing the 10% discount code with all applicable Membership types. The discount can only be redeemed at the Official Stormers Rugby Online Store and is valid for the duration of the Membership Period (12 September to 11 September). The 10% discount is not redeemable for a gift voucher.

3.3 Season Ticket Memberships: Junior Bolter Member

  • Only available to Season Ticket Holders
  • Kids must be between the ages of five (5) and fifteen (15) years old at the time of purchase. Children who are outside of the specified age bracket will have their membership cancelled by Stormers Rugby.
  • Milestone markers – recognition of years as a member starting from the 2025/26 season.
  • Exclusive membership t-shirt (one per membership). The collection of merchandise is the sole responsibility of the Member and may only be done once the correct size has been requested and prepared for collection by Stormers Rugby.
  • Annual coaching clinic with players including a free water bottle and a cap. Limited spaces are available.
  • Opportunity to be in the random draw for selection as a match mascot for home games across the Vodacom URC season. Stormers Rugby are responsible for administering a random draw for selection. Once a Junior Bolter has been selected, his or her parent/guardian will be contacted via cellphone and e-mail. Failure by the Member to respond within the given timeframe will result in the Member forfeiting their opportunity.
  • Priority access to purchase tickets to the Stormers sleepover including a parent/guardian. Limited spaces are available.
  • Personalised birthday message from a DHL Stormers player or coach. Stormers Rugby reserves the right to determine the nature of the birthday message as well as the player or coach responsible. Members who submit their date of birth after their birthday will not be entitled to a belated birthday message unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Standalone Memberships: Stormers Member

  • Milestone markers – recognition of years as a member starting from the 2025/26 season.
  • Exclusive membership t-shirt (one per membership). The collection of merchandise is the sole responsibility of the Member and may only be done once the correct size has been requested and prepared for collection by Stormers Rugby.
  • Early priority access to purchase Vodacom URC and Investec Champions Cup match tickets at a 10% discount (excl playoffs) – 1x ticket per member. Tickets to home matches at DHL Stadium will go on sale to the public on a specified date. Members will be given an earlier, pre-determined time window during which they will have exclusive access to purchase tickets prior to the public, at a ten percent discount. This priority access will only be valid during the specified time window. Stormers Rugby bears no responsibility for ensuring that all Members purchase tickets before sales open to the public. Home match tickets will be at own cost and subject to availability.
  • First right to purchase tickets for home play-off matches at DHL Stadium – 1x ticket per member. Tickets to home play-off matches at DHL Stadium will go on sale to the public on a specified date. Members will be given an earlier, pre-determined time window during which they will have exclusive access to purchase tickets prior to the public. This first right will only be valid during the specified time window. Stormers Rugby bears no responsibility for ensuring that all Members purchase tickets before sales open to the public. Home play-off match tickets will be at own cost and subject to availability.
  • Discount on merchandise from our online store of up to 10%. Stormers Rugby is responsible for sharing the 10% discount code with all applicable Membership types. 4. Payment and fees

Membership fees are payable in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

All fees are non-refundable, except when Stormers Rugby reserve the right to refuse a Membership shortly after purchase. The Membership will be refunded in full, and the Member will be notified.

Stormers Rugby is not responsible for any fees, charges, or losses incurred as a result of payment processing errors or third-party service providers.

5. Membership period and renewal

Memberships are valid only for the applicable Membership Period, expiring at the end of the season during which the Membership was purchased unless otherwise stated.

For Memberships, the season runs from 12 September to 11 September, a one-year period spanning the competitive season.

Memberships will automatically expire at the end of the Membership Period unless renewed by the Member.

Stormers Rugby is under no obligation to notify Members of expiry or renewal dates.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights relating to the Stormers name, logo, branding, and Membership materials remain the exclusive property of Stormers Rugby.

Ownership of a Membership does not grant the Member any right, title, or interest in Stormers Rugby’s intellectual property.

7. Termination

Stormers Rugby may terminate a Membership immediately and without a refund if a Member is deemed to be in breach of the published Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, all Membership Benefits and Membership Entitlements shall immediately cease.

8. Data protection

Personal information collected in connection with any Membership will be processed in accordance with the Stormers Rugby Privacy Policy available at http://stormers.co.za/privacy-policy/, as amended from time to time.

9. Indemnity

Any Member who is invited to attend an official Stormers Rugby match, training session or Captain’s Run will be asked to sign an Indemnity Form. Failure to sign the indemnity form may result in exclusion from the specific event.

Members agree to participate voluntarily and at own risk in all such activities offered by Stormers Rugby.

Members must strictly adhere to the applicable rules and directives imposed by Stormers Rugby.

Participation by the Member shall be considered as express consent.
