Following a disappointing defeat in Clermont last week, the DHL Stormers are looking for a 16th straight win in front of the Faithful.

Springboks Frans Malherbe and Marvin Orie come into the starting line-up, while Herschel Jantjies will earn his 50th cap when he comes off the replacements bench.

0 – We are underway at DHL Stadium.

2 – Early scrum for the visitors, but we get a free kick and will have the scrum reversed. Scrum penalty this time and Libbok kicks for the corner.

4 – Penalty goes against us at the line-out so London Irish can clear. Errors on both sides, skew line-out means we have a scrum near halfway.

7 – Penalty at the scrum so Libbok kicks to the corner again.

8 – The forwards put their heads down and there is no stopping Willie Engelbrecht as he powers over for the try to make it 7-0.

10 – Back on the front foot as we run at them. Ball lost in the tackle so we have a scrum on halfway.

13 – Dayimani breaks down the blindside and gets it to Davids who is taken into touch in the 22.

15 – High ball lost forward so London Irish have the scrum this time near halfway.

18 – London Irish move into the 22 but a kick through is gathered by Blommetjies and we clear it.

20 – Ball fumbled by Libbok so London Irish have another scrum near halfway.

22 – London Irish break through and take it right up to the tryline, but a crucial turnover from Deon Fourie means we can clear.

24 – Incredible try as we run it from our own 22, but it is disallowed by the TMO for a forward pass.

26 – We take it into the 22 again and Davids is tackled into touch.

30 – Willemse takes it up in midfield and is held up in the tackle so the visitors have a scrum on halfway.

32 – Lost forward in a big tackle from Davids, so we have a scrum and win a penalty. Libbok kicks to the corner.

34 – Sustained attack in the 22 and Blommetjies puts a kick through but they secure and clear up to the 22.

36 – We force a knock-on in the 22, so we will have a chance to attack.

38 – The pressure finally results in three points from the boot of Manie Libbok as we hit double figures just before half-time.

40 – That is half-time and we take a 10-0 lead into the break.

41 – Second half underway.

42 – Zas wins the high ball and gets it away to Hacjivah Dayimani. They can try, but they won’t catch him. The conversion from Libbok makes it 17-0.

45 – we come from our own 22 again and after another break from Dayimani it is Zas who finishes this time. The conversion makes it 24-0.

49 – London Irish on the attack in the 22 as they look for their first points and they score from a maul to make it 24-7.

53 – Great defence as London Irish keep pressing.

55 – Visitors get a scrum from a knock-on, so they will have a go from just outside the 22. Scrum penalty won though so we can clear it.

58 – Great maul and we have a penalty on the 22. Libbok takes aim at the poles and makes it 27-7.

62 – London Irish on the attack and we are called offside so they go to the corner. It goes over the back so we can clear.

64 – We are called offside again and it is a team warning this time. They go to the corner again.

66 – London Irish looked to have scored, but it was lost forward over the line.

68 – Jantjies goes for an intercept on the 22 but it is lost forward so LI have a scrum. They win a scrum penalty and kick to the corner again. Throw is not straight so we have it back in our 22.

70 – Scrum penalty won so we can move out our 22. Libbok misses touch and we give away a breakdown penalty so LI are back on the attack.

74 – A second try for London Irish, with replacement Will Joseph scoring to make it 27-14.

77 – Hartzenberg pushed off the ball so we kick to the corner and have one last chance for the bonus point.

79 – A series of penalties from mauls in the 22, but no card.

80 – Bonus point try comes after the hooter as Junior Pokomela scores to seal a 34-14 win.
