The DHL Stormers are up against Edinburgh in a Vodacom United Rugby Championship quarterfinal at DHL Stadium.

If the DHL Stormers win tonight, then we will be back here at DHL Stadium next weekend for a semifinal against Ulster.

However, they need to get past a determined Edinburgh side in order to do that. DHL Stadium is filling up and conditions are good here, so we should be in for an epic clash.

0 – The DHL Stormers run out to thunderous applause from the Faithful. We have kick-off at DHL Stadium.

2 – Jantjies finds a good touch from the base to settle things down early. Early knock-on from Edinburgh and the DHL Stormers surge into the 22.

3 – What a start at DHL Stadium as our team surges into the 22, with Hacjivah Dayimani hitting a gap and the finish from Warrick Gelant is good! Manie Libbok makes no mistake with the conversion either to make it 7-0.

7 – Edinburgh win a penalty and kick into the corner. Another penalty means they can open their account to make it 7-3.

9 – DHL Stormers straight onto the attack from the restart and they win a penalty in the 22 and kick to the corner.

11 – Stopped just short of the line, but a penalty comes and Libbok kicks it over to make it 10-3.

15 – Edinburgh with a maul try in the corner and the touchline conversion levels it up at 10-10.

18 – Ball knocked loose in the tackle and DHL Stormers snap back into attack mode. They go into the 22 but there was a foot in touch.

21 – DHL Stormers keep the pressure on and win the ball back in the 22. Chip kick from Jantjies for Gelant, but Edinburgh win it back and clear it.

23 – Edinburgh kick high and win it back but then kick it straight out on the full.

26 – Evan Roos bursts through the defensive line and goes into the 22, DHL Stormers support in numbers, but there is a forward pass so Edinburgh have a scrum.

30 – Edinburgh kick long and it is returned. both teams looking for territory now. Gelant bursts through and is ankle-tapped just short of the line. Edinburgh intercept and managed to scramble it away.

32 – Edinburgh steal the line-out and then kick long, finding touch just outside the 22.

33 – High tackle on Evan Roos and Edinburgh No.8 Magnus Bradbury is shown a yellow card.

35 – Libbok kicks high and Zas competes, but Edinburgh secure it and hoist it themselves.

37 – Edinburgh win a breakdown penalty and kick into the 22.

39 – Breakdown penalty from Deon Fourie this time, so we have one last chance to attack before half-time.

40 – Half-time at DHL Stadium and there is no separating the teams who have both scored a try and a penalty. Big second 40 minutes coming up.

42 – We are back underway at DHL Stadium, DHL Stormers looking to strike first in the second half.

44 – Another fast start in the second half, this time they come from their own half and find some space out wide, with Ruhan Nel finishing in style to make it 17-10.

47 – Scrum penalty won and they kick into the 22 as they look for another try.

51 – They back up the try with a penalty soon afterwards to double the half-time score.

53 – Another try as the second half blitz continues, this time Evan Roos goes over to make it 25-10.

56 – Edinburgh get one back through scrumhalf Pyrgos to bring them back into it at 25-17.

59 – Good defence again as Edinburgh throw it wide, some good scrambling forces a knock-on just outside the 22.

61 – Another scrum penalty wins some territory and they go up to halfway.

63 – Edinburgh claim the line-out and kick high. Both teams exchanging kicks now as it gets cagey again.

65 – Edinburgh knock-on so we have a scrum in our own half. More kicking from both teams.

67 – Evan Roos strips the ball off the carrier and makes a break up the middle. Edinburgh offside so Libbok takes aim at the poles and adds the three points to make it 28-17.

70 – Edinburgh on the attack and win a scrum after it is lost forward in the tackle. They go into the 22, but Xaba makes a crucial turnover in front of the poles.

73 – DHL Stormers surge onto the attack again and make it into the 22, but it is lost forward by Venter. Scrum penalty for Edinburgh this time so they can clear it.

76 – Edinburgh on the attack now and they kick into the 22, but it is marked by Masimla.

78 – Orie makes a charge down and kicks ahead. The support is up quickly and force a knock-on. One more attacking opportunity.

The DHL Stormers have secured a home semifinal against Ulster at DHL Stadium next weekend with a 28-17 quarterfinal win against Edinburgh. Thanks to all of you for cheering us on, see you back here next week.
