The DHL Stormers are looking to book their place in the Heineken Champions Cup play-offs as they take on French side ASM Clermont Auvergne at DHL Stadium in their final pool match. Follow all of the action live here with our updates.

The DHL Stormers need just one log point to secure their place in the Round of 16, but a win will secure home advantage in the knock-out round.

0 – Action underway here and we get an early penalty to exit our half.

2 – Some physical stuff early on and we have a line-out just outside the 22.

4 – Ball in touch on the far side and this time Clermont have the line-out. Breakdown penalty so the visitors can kick into our half.

6 – Both teams kicking for position and Willemse claims a high ball to get us on the front foot. Clermont put it in touch so we have a line-out 40 metres out.

9 – Lost forward on halfway on the counter so Clermont have the first scrum, but we win a penalty and Wolhuter has a shot at goal but it is just short.

12 – More kicking from both teams and Clermont make their way into our half. Knocked on in the tackle, but we were offside so Anthony Bellau kicks the penalty to put Clermont 3-0 up.

15 – Hartzenberg shoots through and into the 22. We go wide but there was a forward pass so Clermont have a defensive scrum.

18 – Good kicking puts us in a good position and Willie Engelbrecht wins a breakdown penalty, so Wolhuter kicks into the corner.

21 – Lost forward in contact in front of the poles, so Clermont have another scrum in their 22.

23 – Clermont kick and we come from the line-out, but it is lost forward in midfield, so they have another scrum just short of halfway. The visitors get a penalty this time and kick into our half.

25 – Joseph Dweba trapped at the breakdown in front of the poles and it’s another three points for the visitors to make it 6-0.

28 – Another breakdown penalty for Clermont and they kick to the 22.

30 – We steal the line-out and Clermont are offside. We kick into the 22 from the line-out but it is marked and cleared.

32 – Dweba claims it at the back of a line-out but loses it forward, so Clermont have a scrum 40 metres out. Breakdown penalty won by Fourie, so we can get out of our half.

35 – Lost forward in the tackle just outside the 22, so Clermont have another scrum.

37 – Another crucial breakdown penalty from Deon Fourie on halfway and Wolhuter has another shot at goal and puts it through the poles no problem to make it 6-3.

40 – That is half-time and not much in it at DHL Stadium where the visitors take a 3 point lead into the break.

41 – Second half underway at DHL Stadium. We force a knock-on early so we have a scrum to attack from in Clermont half.

43 – No release from Clermont and Wolhuter kicks another three to level it up at 6-6.

45 – Clermont with the breakdown penalty and three points to get their noses in front again at 9-6.

47 – Herschel Jantjies, Evan Roos and Jean-Luc du Plessis all take the field. Du Plessis puts a grubber in and it is batted into touch by a defender and it gets him a yellow card. We kick into the corner.

48 – Roos powers over for a try on his birthday and Du Plessis converts to make it 13-9.

51 – Replacements doing the trick here at DHL Stadium. This time it is Herschel Jantjies who scores in the corner to make it 18-9.

55 – Dan du Plessis gets a beauty of an offload from Joseph Dweba to shoot through and score the third. Converted by his cousin JL and the Faithful are loving it as we lead 25-9.

60 – Intercept try from the visitors, with wing Bautista Delguy running it in from his own 22.

63 – Bonus point in the bag as Deon Fourie goes over for our fourth try from a maul.

68 – Clermont get a breakdown penalty and kick to the corner. Great defence forces a knock o we have a scrum.

75 – High tackle from Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and he is shown a yellow card. Clermont kick to the corner as they look for a second try. More great defence and we win it back in the 22.

79 – One last scrum penalty and we kick it out to secure the win and book our place in the Round of 16.
