Joubert at wing for Vodacom Stormers

An Elite Squad U/18 curtain raiser match will be played at 17h15.

A feature of the team is the inclusion of Springbok centre Marius Joubert at left wing, where he replaces Chumani Booi. Booi made his debut last week against the Highlanders, but this week will be starting on the substitutes’ bench.

Joubert made his return to the playing field last Saturday after an absence of six months due to a lower back injury.

Springbok centre Jean de Villiers has again been included in the starting XV, but is bracketed with Gus Theron. There is still doubt over the groin injury that has seen De Villiers on the sidelines for the past three weeks.

Andries Bekker is also back in the frame at lock, but is bracketed with Henk Eksteen, who played against the Highlanders due to the abdomen muscle injury that kept Bekker on the sideline.

At hooker Schalk Brits will be starting again after he last week had to make way for Hanyani Shimange.
