Said coach Gert Smal, “The fixture against Wasps on Sunday provides the final match practise for the season. Despite being played in cold and probably wet conditions, the match will allow us to test our players and game against a consistently top side. It will also allow us to focus on areas of our game which are conducive to wet weather conditions and which is beneficial to us in our preparations for the Vodacom Super 12.”

The squad departs for the UK on Thursday 10 February, and return on Monday 14 February. The starting line-up will be released on Friday.
