Head to DHL Newlands after the OMTOM

The DHL Stormers will be up against the Emirates Lions at DHL Newlands in a mouth-watering Vodacom Super Rugby derby which kicks off at 17h15 on Saturday.

With the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon starting in the early hours on Main road adjacent to DHL Newlands, the Newlands area will be abuzz and the DHL Newlands Faithful will turn out in their numbers as the DHL Stormers look to add to their six consecutive victories this season.

Both events will take place in the beautiful setting of Cape Town on the same day, which promises to create a special atmosphere with two premier sporting events in the area. This is your chance to put your feet up after the race and enjoy some top Vodacom Super Rugby action just around the corner from the finish line.

DHL, the title sponsors of the DHL Stormers, will also be involved in the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon on the day, as will technical sponsors adidas. In addition to this both Powerade and Tsogo Sun sponsor both the DHL Stormers and the iconic race around the Cape Peninsular.

DHL will have a stand at the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon Expo at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, which will be visited by some DHL Stormers players who will interact with fans. There will also be tickets for the clash between the DHL Stormers and Emirates Lions at DHL Newlands up for grabs.

The rallying call for the DHL Stormers this season is ‘We Stand Together’ and all runners in the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon are invited to stand together with our team as they take on their rivals from up North.
