Tickets for this match were originally made available through a ballot system, which was the fairest way of giving everyone a chance to secure a seat given the uncertainty at the time around what stadium occupancy would be allowed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Last week it was confirmed that the Government had gazetted new regulations that included the dropping of limits on both indoor and outdoor gatherings, which means rugby stadiums can now sell all available tickets.
The lifting of more COVID-19 restrictions also means that there will be no vaccination certificate or ID checks, social distancing rules or mask requirements for this Test match either.
Despite the lifting of certain COVID-19 restrictions, spectators are urged to ensure that the DHL Stadium is still a safe environment for all attending.
The balance of the capacity of the stadium are now on sale, with tickets in Categories A-D now available to the general public.
This historic Test Match on 16 July 2022 will mark the first rugby Test to be played at DHL Stadium with a full stadium capacity crowd and promises an electric atmosphere.
The recent Vodacom United Rugby Championship Grand Final, which saw the DHL Stormers claim the inaugural title, was played in front of a sold out, COVID-19 restricted capacity crowd of 31 000 supporters.
That match was an incredible showcase of the passion that people in the region have for rugby and with even more tickets available for the Test match, demand is expected to be very high for what is the first opportunity to fill up the new home of the DHL Stormers.
There are nine DHL Stormers in the current Springbok squad, so supporters, young and old, will have the opportunity to cheer on their local heroes in the Green and Gold as part of a capacity crowd at a full DHL Stadium.
So get your ticket now and make sure you are there when the Springboks run out to face Wales on July 16.
