The Faithful came out in their numbers to watch the DHL Stormers train at Elsies River RFC on Tuesday.

A big crowd had built up by the time the DHL Stormers arrived for their afternoon training session and they were met with cheers as they made their way to the changeroom.

President of the Western Province Rugby Football Union, Mr Thelo Wakefield, addressed the crowd ahead of the training session and thanked the people for their unwavering support.

“I myself am from Elsies River and matriculated from Elsies River High School which is so well represented here today, so I am very pleased that we were able to bring the DHL Stormers here to connect with their supporters.

“Our rallying call is ‘We Stand Together’ and we want to show the different communities that the DHL Stormers appreciate their support,” he said.

Following training there was a signing session and the fans got the chance to meet their heroes and get an autograph on their DHL Stormers flags.
