DHL Stormers thanks

Our very sincere thanks go to all our supporters in South Africa and abroad for the quite incredible support we have enjoyed throughout this year’s Vodacom Super Rugby Competition. We are indeed privileged and humbled to have you all as part of the team and for this we thank you.

The support at DHL Newlands yesterday was once again phenomenal. We are most proud to enjoy such support, that which makes Newlands so unique in world rugby. It is your attendance that makes Newlands so special – a stadium whose wonderful atmosphere is always so favourably commented on by visiting teams.

We are acutely aware of your disappointment that we did not go all the way. It hurts us that we let you down , but please be assured that we gave everything and more to make you proud. On the day the Crusaders were the better team and we congratulate them on what has been a most difficult and emotional season for them.

Once again, thank you for the season. We will be even more determined to give you what you deserve and next season’s planning will begin now in all earnest.
