The new home and away replica jerseys are on sale now from stormersshop.co.za and blksport.co.za and will be available at all major retailers from Tuesday.
The 2024/25 home jersey features the iconic blue and white hoops as well as the names of every player who has ever represented the DHL Stormers in a tribute to our legends of the past and the present while looking ahead to a bright future.
With over 350 DHL Stormers from 1998 through to 2024 all included, it is a reminder of how far we have come together and the amazing potential of what is still to come.
The 2024/25 away jersey features a colourful design which evokes a typically beautiful Cape Town sunset, along with a silhouette of the city and Table Mountain. In this way, the team will carry a piece of home with them wherever they may play this season.
The DHL Stormers home and away match jerseys are made of Exotek, which is a premium polyester spandex sublimation fabric with maximum stretch and recovery capabilities. The considerable burst strength of the fabric makes it perfect for rugby performance.
Director of Rugby John Dobson said that the new designs speak to what inspires the team and their passionate fanbase.
“For our team to be carrying every player who has ever pulled on the jersey in the 26 years of DHL Stormers rugby with them onto the pitch is hugely significant.
“This home jersey design is also the closest we have been to the iconic blue and white hoops, which is a key part of our identity and always will be.
“The away jersey references the vibrant colours of our city and our people, who we want to bring joy to in the way that we play every game.
“We are looking forward to the new season, which kicks off with the start of our Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign next week and the players will wear these jerseys with pride,” he said.
