De Wet wants improvement
The strong-running midfielder on Wednesday said he can accept it if the spectators boo the Stormers, but said it is a bitter pill to swallow when the spectators leave before the final whistle.
Therefore the Stormers’ centre hopes that his team will produce the type of play against the Blues on Saturday that would keep the supporters glued to their seats until the end of the match.
“What bothered me most was when we were standing under the poles and saw how people streamed out of the gates. That was definitely not a nice feeling,”he said.
“I really want us to produce the type of game that would keep the people until the end of the game and that is definitely the standard we will be striving to achieve this weekend.”
The leader gave the assurance that they have deleted the nightmarish second half against the Crusaders last weekend and that they are looking ahead.
“Our focus is definitely on the Blues,” he said. “We cannot sit and worry about last week. I am full of confidence that we can play to our potential this weekend.
