Cash parking available in DHL Stadium precinct
There will be cash parking available in the DHL Stadium precinct for the Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash between the DHL Stormers and Vodacom Bulls on Saturday.
Online parkings in the P2 parking area are now sold out, but there will be parking available on a first-come first-served basis in P4 and P9 for R100 per car (cash only).
The P4 parking area is directly behind the athletics stadium, while P9 is adjacent to the Metropolitan Golf Club and Greenpoint Park. Vehicles are parked at own risk.
There will be full road closure in both directions between 06h00- 20h30 on Fritz Sonnenberg between Stephan Way and MacDonalds and on Vlei Road between Helen Suzman and Fritz Sonnenberg.
Hospitality ticket holders with pre-issued parking in either P1 or P5 will have to provide evidence that they are entitled to these parking bays by clearly displaying the Vehicle Access Permit (VAP) on their dashboard when entering the parking area (P5) on Vlei Road. Failure to display will result in access being denied.
Ticket holders with disabilities must formally request access to the parking bays dedicated in P5 to people with disabilities by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
When parking in the greater precinct, please be considerate of the residents and park only in legally available bays.
Enforcement will take place in the greater precinct and those parking illegally face fines or having their vehicles towed and impounded. No event security is provided in these areas and vehicles are parked at own risk.
There are also options for on-street parking in the City Centre. No event security is provided here however and vehicles are parked own risk.
Off-street paid parking can be found in the City Centre at the CTICC, Ryk Tulbagh Square, Picbel Parkade and Plein Park, as well as at the V&A Waterfront.
Drop and go facilities are available at the embankment of Helen Suzman BLVD (City bound), between Vlei and Granger Bay Boulevard.
