Vodacom Stormers back at HQ

The squad will spend most of Thursday in testing with the Fitness and Conditioning Coach Greg Hechter and will then pick up where they left off at the end of 2006. The Vodacom Stormers attended a training camp in George from 16 to 20 December, where they spent most of their time fine-tuning rugby specific drills on the training field at Saasveld.

Vodacom Stormers flanker and 2006 SA Super 14 player of the year Luke Watson missed the training camp due to minor ankle surgery. He has recovered from the surgery and has joined his team mates at their training ground in Bellville.

The team has a field session scheduled for Friday afternoon, as well as Saturday morning, as they prepare for their friendly match against the Vodacom Bulls at Loftus on Saturday 13 January. Tickets will be available from the Loftus ticket office from the Wednesday before the match or at the gates on the day. Prices range from between R10 and R30.
