Möller expects big Brumbies onslaught

The young Stormers loosehead prop has made it clear that he expects a big onslaught from the heavy and big Brumbies eight. He however warned that the Stormers would not take a step backwards in the battle for supremacy upfront.

Möller said the Brumbies should not be underestimated, particularly not after they came a cropper against the Bulls last weekend. “They are a well balanced side and they play intelligent rugby.

“Guys like Stirling Mortlock and Clyde Rathbone are coming back into the side and they will be a completely different side compared to the one that played against the Bulls.”

It is going to be tough to repeat last week’s victory over the Hurricanes in Palmerston North, added Möller.

“It will be a difficult game, because they can mix it up upfront as well, which makes it quite difficult for their opponents. I will be up against their tighthead Guy Shepardson, who has played for the Wallabies.”

Möller is particularly wary of the Brumbies’ ability to win turnover ball and said he could see on the tape of their game against the Bulls how they do it. “They have a few big guys in the right positions.

“Players such as Chisholm and the flank Daniel Heenan are big guys. Then they also have the experience of their hooker Jeremy Paul, who has played in more than 100 Super games.”

Möller, however, was adamant that the Stormers tight five would be up for the challenge.
