Eramus makes changes to Vodacom Stormers

The coach made four changes – one enforced by injury – to the team that lost to the Blues at Newlands the past Saturday in their round three Vodacom Super 14 match.

Prop JD Moller has not recovered sufficiently from the shoulder injury that forced him off the field last Saturday. Youngster Wicus Blaauw takes over at tigthead prop, with Schalk Ferreira coming onto the bench.

Springbok prop Brian Mujati has been included after there were some doubts about his fitness. He sustained a neck injury against the Blues. Schalk Burger is also fine after hurting his calf last Saturday.

Former Springbok AJ Venter also gets his first start for the Stormers. He will be playing at lock in place of Adriaan Fondse, who moves to the substitutes’ bench. Another veteran, flyhalf Willem de Waal, takes over from Peter Grant. The Springbok is on the bench.

Nick Koster gets a chance to start at left wing in place of big Fijian wing Sireli Naqelevuki, who reverts to the bench. Dewaldt Duvenhage has recovered from a groin operation and is the new reserve scrumhalf. He takes over from veteran Bolla Conradie. Percy Montgomery is still at fullback. Conrad Jantjes has not recovered from a calf injury.
