STORMERS RUGBY (PTY) LIMITED

1. Definitions and interpretation

Stormers Rugby (Pty) Limited is referred to in these Conditions of Issue as “Stormers Rugby”.

“Membership” means any official Stormers Membership product made available for purchase via the Official Stormers Website or any authorised sales channel.

“Member” means any person who has successfully purchased and holds a valid Membership.

“Membership benefits” or “Membership entitlements” means the benefits, privileges, access, discounts or offers associated with a particular Membership tier, as determined by Stormers Rugby from time to time.

“Membership period” means the period for which a Membership is valid, as specified at the time of purchase. Memberships run from 12 September to 11 September, a one-year period spanning the competitive season.

“Website” means www.stormers.co.za and any related digital platforms operated by Stormers Rugby.

The below conditions of issue should be read in conjunction with the following additional terms (which are hereby incorporated into these conditions of issue):

2. Acceptance of terms

By purchasing, holding, or using a Membership, the Member acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Stormers Rugby reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any amendments will be effective upon publication on the Website.

3. Membership tiers, benefits and eligibility

Stormers Rugby may offer various Membership tiers, each with distinct benefits, pricing and eligibility criteria.

Memberships are personal to the Member and may not be transferred, sold, or assigned unless expressly stated otherwise by Stormers Rugby.

Stormers Rugby reserves the right to refuse or cancel any Membership purchase at its sole discretion.

For the 26/27 season, Stormers Rugby offers the following membership tiers, with the listed eligibility criteria and Membership benefits for each:

3.1 Junior Bolter

Kids must be between the ages of five (5) and thirteen (13) years old at the time of purchase. Children who fall outside of the indicated age bracket will have their memberships cancelled by Stormers Rugby.
Junior Bolters will receive a 50% discount on match tickets for all Vodacom URC and Investec Champions Cup home games in the regular season. This discount does not apply to potential playoff games. This discount will be applied to one ticket per membership, per match.
All Junior Bolters are entitled to a personalised birthday message from a DHL Stormers player. The personalised birthday videos will be shared via e-mail.
Access to the annual coaching clinic hosted by Stormers Rugby. This clinic has limited spaces available and will be by RSVP only.
All Junior Bolters are included in the random draw for selection as a match mascot for home games across the Vodacom URC regular season. If randomly selected, the child will have the opportunity to run out with the team captain before kick-off at a home match. Stormers Rugby will provide the socks, shorts and shirt for the kids match mascots.
Opportunity to register and be selected for the pre-match foyer experience at Vodacom URC and Investec Champions Cup home matches across the regular season. If selected, the Junior Bolter and one parent/guardian will be invited down to the tunnel to watch the team and cheer them on as they run out for their match. Limited spaces are available.
Opportunity to attend exclusive member matchday signing sessions. Stormers members will have the chance to attend special signing sessions with non-playing DHL Stormers on home matchdays across the regular season. Venues and times of these signing sessions will be communicated by Stormers Rugby during the week of the relevant fixture.
All Junior Bolters will receive an exclusive membership cap for the season. Membership caps may be collected at DHL Stadium on all matchdays or by special arrangement at the Stormers Rugby offices.
Junior Bolters will have access to the dedicated member area at bus arrival. A dedicated area will be marked off for Stormers members to access the DHL Stormers bus arrival at home matches at DHL Stadium. First come first served, limited availability.
If the Vodacom URC Kids Round is a home match for the DHL Stormers, Junior Bolters will have the opportunity to be selected for various matchday roles throughout the day. This might include stadium announcers, photographers, TV interviewers, and other roles specifically held for children during the Vodacom URC Kids Round.
Junior Bolters will get priority access to purchase tickets to the DHL Stormers Sleepover. Limited spaces are available.
All Stormers Members receive a 10% discount that may be redeemed on the Stormers Online Merchandise Shop. This discount will be redeemable for the duration of the season and membership period.
All Stormers Members will have access to dedicated member fast-track stadium entrances. These dedicated entrances will enable members to skip long queues and enter the DHL Stadium faster on busy matchdays.

3.2 Junior Bolter (Add-On)

Kids must be between the ages of five (5) and thirteen (13) years old at the time of purchase. Children who fall outside of the indicated age bracket will have their memberships cancelled by Stormers Rugby.
Kids must be season ticket holders to be eligible for this membership tier.
All Junior Bolters are entitled to a personalised birthday message from a DHL Stormers player. The personalised birthday videos will be shared via e-mail.

3.3 The Faithful

Members must be fourteen (14) years or older at the time of purchase. Members who fall outside of the indicated age bracket will have their memberships cancelled by Stormers Rugby.
The Faithful will receive one ticket per membership for the Ulster, Lions, Cardiff and Benetton Vodacom URC home matches. These seats will be Category B tickets in a dedicated The Faithful block. Members will have the opportunity to select their seat(s) in the dedicated block. This group of matches allows The Faithful to see the DHL Stormers in action against four teams from four different countries, in four different months spread across the season.
Opportunity to attend exclusive member matchday signing sessions. Stormers members will have the chance to attend special signing sessions with non-playing DHL Stormers on home matchdays across the regular season. Venues and times of these signing sessions will be communicated by Stormers Rugby during the week of the relevant fixture.
The Faithful will have access to an exclusive member happy hour on matchdays. Details of the happy hour offering will be communicated to all qualifying members ahead of all home matches. Only available to members older than eighteen (18) years.
The Faithful will be invited to exclusive Q&A sessions with DHL Stormers coaches and/or players. These sessions may take place virtually or in person. Details of these sessions and how to access them will be communicated to all qualifying members ahead of time.
Priority access to purchase tickets for potential home playoff matches at the DHL Stadium. This priority access will apply to one ticket per membership. Details of how to claim your priority access will be communicated to all qualifying members ahead of any potential playoff matches at DHL Stadium.
Stormers Rugby may share invitations to select DHL Stormers training sessions at the DHL Stadium during home match weeks. Details of the training sessions and access will be communicated to all qualifying members ahead of time. Limited spaces are available.
All The Faithful will receive an exclusive membership cap for the season. Membership caps may be collected at DHL Stadium on all matchdays or by special arrangement at the Stormers Rugby offices.
The Faithful will have access to the dedicated member area at bus arrival. A dedicated area will be marked off for Stormers members to access the DHL Stormers bus arrival at home matches at DHL Stadium. First come first served, limited availability.

3.4 Flash Member

Members must be fourteen (14) years or older at the time of purchase. Members who fall outside of the indicated age bracket will have their memberships cancelled by Stormers Rugby.
This Membership tier is only available to season tickets holders.
There are a limited number of Flash Memberships available for the 26/27 season.
Flash Members may choose between the 26/27 Home or Away replica jersey. The collection of merchandise is the sole responsibility of the Flash Member and may be done once the correct size has been requested and prepared for collection by Stormers Rugby.
Parking pass for the nearest available parking to DHL Stadium for all home matches across the regular season. The Stormers Rugby ticketing department reserve the right to determine the nearest available parking. Parking passes will be shared on a match-by-match basis.
Flash Members will have access to an exclusive member happy hour on matchdays. Details of the happy hour offering will be communicated to all qualifying members ahead of all home matches. Only available to members older than eighteen (18) years.
Invitations to select Captain’s Run training sessions hosted at DHL Stadium. Attendance will be by RSVP only. Details of the Captain’s Run will be shared during the week of the relevant fixture.
Opportunity to be in the random draw for selection as the Flash Member on the bench for all Vodacom URC home matches across the regular season. This opportunity is not available for playoff matches. Only available to Flash Members older than eighteen (18) years. If selected, the Flash Member will be given the opportunity to join the team on the bench for the full duration of the match.
Opportunity to be in the random draw for selection for a surprise hospitality upgrade for you and a friend. Stormers Rugby will do a random draw to select a Flash Member at all home matches at the DHL Stadium. The randomly selected Flash Member, and a plus one, will be invited to watch the match in a Stormers Rugby hospitality suite.
Your seat included for all potential Vodacom URC, Investec Champions Cup and Carling Currie Cup playoffs at the DHL Stadium. This applies to one seat per Flash Membership.
Flash Members will be invited to exclusive Q&A sessions with DHL Stormers coaches and/or players. These sessions may take place virtually or in person. Details of these sessions and how to access them will be communicated to all qualifying members ahead of time.
Opportunity to attend exclusive member matchday signing sessions. Stormers members will have the chance to attend special signing sessions with non-playing DHL Stormers on home matchdays across the regular season. Venues and times of these signing sessions will be communicated by Stormers Rugby during the week of the relevant fixture.
Flash Members will have access to the dedicated member area at bus arrival. A dedicated area will be marked off for Stormers members to access the DHL Stormers bus arrival at home matches at DHL Stadium. First come first served, limited availability.
All Stormers Members receive a 10% discount that may be redeemed on the Stormers Online Merchandise Shop. This discount will be redeemable for the duration of the season and membership period.
All Stormers Members will have access to dedicated member fast-track stadium entrances. These dedicated entrances will enable members to skip long queues and enter the DHL Stadium faster on busy matchdays.

4. Payment and fees

Membership fees are payable in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

All fees are non-refundable, except when Stormers Rugby reserve the right to refuse a Membership shortly after purchase. The Membership will be refunded in full, and the purchaser will be notified.

Stormers Rugby is not responsible for any fees, charges, or losses incurred as a result of payment processing errors or third-party service providers.

5. Membership period and renewal

Memberships are valid only for the applicable Membership Period, expiring at the end of the season during which the Membership was purchased unless otherwise stated.

For Memberships, the season runs from 12 September to 11 September, a one-year period spanning the competitive season.

Memberships will automatically expire at the end of the Membership Period unless renewed or upgraded by the Member.

Stormers Rugby will notify Members of expiry and renewal dates, by publication on the website or via e-mail.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights relating to the Stormers name, logo, branding, and Membership materials remain the exclusive property of Stormers Rugby.

Ownership of a Membership does not grant the Member any right, title, or interest in Stormers Rugby’s intellectual property.

7. Termination

Stormers Rugby may terminate a Membership immediately and without a refund if a Member is deemed to be in breach of the published Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, all Membership benefits shall immediately cease.

8. Data protection

Personal information collected in connection with any Membership will be processed in accordance with the Stormers Rugby Privacy Policy available on our website.

9. Indemnity

Any Member who is invited to attend an official Stormers Rugby match, training session or Captain’s Run may be asked to sign an Indemnity Form. Failure to sign may result in exclusion from the relevant event.

Members agree to participate voluntarily and at own risk in all such activities offered by Stormers Rugby.

Members must strictly adhere to the applicable rules and directives imposed by Stormers Rugby.

Participation by the Member shall be considered as express consent.
