DHL Stormers XV 17 – Maties 0

Playing into a stiff wind in the 2nd half the DHL Stormers training squad managed a further 2 tries at the close of the game, for a final score of 17-0. (Tries Adams and VD Spuy)

DHL Stormers coach, Allister Coetzee, declared himself happy with what he had seen from the young team. “Conditions were not easy with the wind and the Maties offered tough opposition. We got the answers we were looking for, with some players impressing. All in all though, it is great to be giving players the vital game time they need in preparation for the season ahead.”

The DHL Stormers now head into the Neo Africa Tri Series when the take the Lions on in the first game next week.
