What a time to be a WP Rugby season ticket holder
The 2022/23 season was a special one for WP Rugby season ticket holders, as they got closer to our teams than ever before.
Our season ticket holders were there every step of the way as the DHL Stormers played four play-off matches at DHL Stadium on top of the highs and lows of the regular season in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship, Heineken Champions Cup and Currie Cup.
The DHL Stormers played in front of six crowds of more than 30 000, including three games of more than 40 000 and a sold-out Vodacom United Rugby Championship Grand Final, with our loyal season ticket holders at the heart of it all.
On top of their prime seats, season ticket holders were also given the opportunity to cheer the team on as they came out of the changeroom and walked towards the tunnel at every game at DHL Stadium.
While the matchday experience was unrivalled, there were also amazing rewards and benefits from our season ticket loyalty programme, which included discounts from our partners year-round and weekly prizes from lucky draws.
This all added up to an incredible season which had our most loyal supporters closer than ever to the players and with us every step of the way, including the Vodacom United Rugby Championship final, which sold out in under three hours.
The DHL Stormers’ pool opponents for the Heineken Champions Cup have already been announced (Sale Sharks, La Rochelle, Leicester Tigers and Stade Francais), with dates and venues still to be confirmed, while the new Vodacom United Rugby Championship fixtures will be announced in the next week.
Season tickets will open for renewal on 19 July, with new sales for the 2023/24 season opening on 15 August. Make sure you are part of the journey as we go even bigger and better, with our faithful season ticket holders.
Current season ticket holders have the first option to secure their seats and extra benefits when they are sent a renewal notice via email on 19 July. That email will contain a unique link to renew and all the relevant information. The same information will also be available on our website, for those who do not receive the renewal notice by email for any reason.
All renewals must be finalised by 4 August, after which those current 2022/23 season tickets will be released and made available for purchase as new season tickets.
New season tickets will go on sale to the public from 15 August from Ticketpro. Details of how to purchase a new season ticket will be available on our website and social media platforms from 15 August
