Free tickets for specific matches at DHL Stadium for season ticket holders
All Newlands 2020 season ticket holders will be able to claim free tickets for three specific Vodacom United Rugby Championship matches and two Carling Currie Cup matches.
As an indication of our gratitude for your loyalty and support over the last two years, all Newlands 2020 season ticket holders will be able to collect free tickets for the upcoming DHL Stormers games against Ospreys, the Vodacom Bulls and Glasgow Warriors. This offer will also be valid for the DHL Western Province matches against the Toyota Cheetahs and Tafel Lager Griquas at DHL Stadium.
As announced by State President Cyril Ramaphosa this week, rugby venues are now permitted to accept up to 50 percent of their capacity for vaccinated or COVID-19 negative attendees.
The change in the regulations means that the requirement that only 2 000 vaccinated fans are allowed into venues has been relaxed for Vodacom United Rugby Championship and Carling Currie Cup.
As a result, we are able to offer you some real value back for your ongoing support, especially given the extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic which has affect match attendances over the last two years.
All those attending must produce either a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test from the previous 72 hours along with their ID before entering the stadium.
Children under 12 do not need to provide any documentation before entering, but all those older than 12 must either have a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test.
Although masks are only required in indoor areas, all spectators are encouraged to bring a mask along in case they find themselves in such an area at any time.
A specific stand has been identified for season ticket holders for these matches.
Details for collection of your free tickets is below. These will be available at selected times before each match at the DHL Stadium ticket office. On presentation of either your 2020 Newlands season ticket card or the ID of the registered owner you will be checked off a list and receive a free ticket per season ticket.

• DHL WP vs Toyota Cheetahs – Friday, 15 April @ 16h45 – open at 14h00
• DHL WP vs vs Tafel Lager Griquas – Saturday, 04 June @ 14:30 – open at 11h00
Tickets for the DHL Stormers’ Vodacom United Rugby Championship and DHL WP Carling Currie Cup home games in April at DHL Stadium, will go on sale at 09h00 on Tuesday, 29 March 2022 and can be purchased online on the TicketPros website. There are also a limited number of Parking Tickets available at R100 per ticket in P2 (off Granger Bay Boulevard, enter at the Fort), which can also be purchased online.
