The new government COVID-19 regulations mean that the Faithful will have an experience like never before at DHL Stadium going forward.

Tickets are available from the Ticketpro website (CLICK HERE to buy yours now) from between R80 and R200.

As announced by State President Cyril Ramaphosa this week, rugby venues are now permitted to accept up to 50 percent of their capacity for vaccinated or COVID-19 negative attendees going forward, but that is not all.

The change in the regulations means that the requirement that only 2 000 vaccinated fans are allowed into venues has been relaxed for Vodacom United Rugby Championship and Carling Currie Cup.

As from the DHL Stormers’ home Vodacom United Rugby Championship game against Ulster, which kicks off at 15h00 on Saturday at DHL Stadium, there are a number of differences which will enhance the experience for the Faithful..

Masks are only to be worn indoors, social distancing is down to one metre, tickets are on sale all around the stadium and beer will also be on sale for the first time.

All those attending must produce either a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test from the previous 72 hours along with their ID before entering the stadium.

Children under 12 do not need to provide any documentation before entering, but all those older than 12 must either have a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test.

Although masks are only required in indoor areas, all spectators are encouraged to bring a mask along in case they find themselves in such an area at any time.

With social distancing regulations now down to just one metre, there is no longer the need for entire rows separating the Faithful and tickets are on sale all around the stadium, rather than just in the East Stand as before.

For the first time since the DHL Stormers have been playing at DHL Stadium, there will be beer on sale in the stadium.

This all adds up to a completely new experience for the Faithful at DHL Stadium. With the DHL Stormers having won their last three home games and up against Ulster, who are currently second on the Vodacom United Rugby Championship standings, this Saturday promises to be a match not to be missed.
