Warwick join WP Rugby sponsorship fold
Warwick has been confirmed as a new sponsor of both the DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province teams, as Associate Sponsor and Wealth Partner.
Warwick is a local and international investment house, with products that span asset, estate, wealth and credit management. Warwick operates across South Africa, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London and Knysna.
With over 18 years’ experience within South Africa alone, Warwick provide clients with ‘financial maturity’ via their products, high service levels and the ability to assist any person with their wealth needs and financial planning.
Western Province Rugby Group CEO, Paul Zacks, welcomed Warwick as the latest high-profile brand to get behind the DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province.
“It is our pleasure to welcome Warwick to the fold here at DHL Newlands, we are very excited to be associated with another top brand.
“Warwick are leaders in their field, which makes them a good fit with our teams and the rest of our valued sponsors and partners,” he said.
President of the Western Province Rugby Football Union, Mr Thelo Wakefield, said that Warwick’s sponsorship is another important step forward for the WPRFU.
“Being connected to a company like Warwick gives WP Rugby and our professional teams even more prestige, so we are very excited about what the future holds with them.
“Our aim is to continue reaching for greater heights and this sponsorship is another step in that process,” he said.
Ian Kilbride, the CEO of Warwick, stated, “Warwick is delighted to be associated with the pre-eminent global rugby franchise and this now extends Warwick’s sporting links, sponsorship and support to rugby, in addition to our existing support for soccer, bowls, golf, bridge, croquet, hockey, cycling and numerous other sporting and leisure activities, enjoyed by our extensive local and international client base.”
The Warwick logo will feature on the chest of the jerseys worn by the 2018 DHL Stormers and all Western Province teams, as part of the new 2018 sponsorship line-up. This new sponsorship deal sees Warwick join the likes of fellow associate sponsors, Land Rover and BrightRock, along with the title sponsor DHL.
